Leica expands Tweed Media’s role to North America

Tweed Media International has been appointed to also handle PR for Leica Sport Optics across North America.

The UK-based agency has been working with the German optics brand in both the hunting and nature observation sectors for the UK and Europe markets since 2013. With a team of 11 award-winning journalists, content producers and account managers, Tweed Media International is ideally placed to expand its reach into the US for the optics brand.

Tweed Media’s responsibilities include product reviews, press releases, social media management, content generation and events.

Leica Camera Inc.’s Director of Sport Optics, Brian E. Bell, commented: “Tweed Media International has always been consistent in its delivery of PR for Leica. No other agency can boast the same level of understanding or expertise so it made sense to extend their reach to the US, where they are already working with all the top magazines, content producers and other premium manufacturers.”
