Tweed Media recently secured BBC Radio 4’s flagship news and current affairs programme, Today, to broadcast live from the CLA Game Fair at Harewood House in Yorkshire.
Renowned throughout the world for its lively interviews and analysis of complex subjects, the Today programme is Radio 4’s most popular broadcast reaching more than seven million listeners each week.
Broadcast in front of a live audience, the programme was hosted by James Naughtie, one of the country’s leading news broadcasters, and featured discussions on a wide range of relevant and timely countryside topics.
Shane Brennan, CLA Director of External Affairs, commented: “We are absolutely delighted to have hosted the Today programme at this year’s CLA Game Fair. It is not only good news for everyone with an interest in rural affairs but a fantastic opportunity to increase understanding among the broad and extensive Today programme audience about topical rural issues and the impact that they have on people living and working in the great British countryside.”
