Tweed Media International is honoured to have been selected to take part in this year’s Parliamentary Review as a business that represents best practice in media.
Directors Simon and Selena Barr recently attended the annual gala at Mansion House in London hosted by Lord Pickles and Lord Blunkett, the co-chairmen of The Parliamentary Review.
The Parliamentary Review is a document that shares best practice between policymakers and business leaders. Each edition covers a range of topics across specific industries, featuring commentary from leading journalists and politicians, which is tied together by the former world trade editor of the Financial Times, The Rt Hon David Curry.
The political journal, which includes a foreword by Michael Gove MP, features a three-page article on Tweed Media’s story, how the agency has grown over the past decade and why we are the leading PR agency in the outdoor leisure and country lifestyle sectors. Half a million copies are printed and will be used to inform decision makers and shape government policy.
Mr Gove commented: “This year’s Parliamentary Review comes at a momentous time for parliament, as we collectively determine the destiny of the United Kingdom.”
CEO Simon Barr added: “We are delighted that our hard work over the past decade has been recognised in this way. The Parliamentary Review is a really important innovation in Westminster and Whitehall that brings common sense and industry insight to policy debates. We feel honoured that Tweed Media has been selected to contribute to the 2019/20 Digital, Culture, Media & Sport edition.”
